Visa & Travel Documents
Visa: Many visitors require a visa to enter Ghana. Please check the official Ghana embassy/consulate website in your country for the latest requirements and processing times.
Passport validity: Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates and has blank pages for entry/exit stamps.
Health & insurance: A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is commonly required for entry; confirm current rules with official sources. We recommend comprehensive travel/medical insurance.

A UNESCO World Heritage site, Cape Coast Castle is one of Ghana’s most significant historic landmarks. Once a hub of the transatlantic slave trade, it now stands as a powerful reminder of resilience and human history. Visiting the castle offers volunteers a chance to connect with Ghana’s past while reflecting on its journey toward freedom and hope.

Located in Ghana’s Central Region, Kakum National Park is famous for its breathtaking canopy walkway suspended high above the rainforest. Stretching over 330 meters, the walk offers stunning views of lush greenery and wildlife, making it one of Ghana’s most thrilling and unforgettable experiences.
Also known as Black Star Square, Independence Square in Accra is one of Ghana’s most iconic landmarks. Built to commemorate Ghana’s freedom from colonial rule in 1957, it hosts national celebrations, parades, and cultural events. The towering Black Star Gate symbolizes the country’s pride, unity, and leadership in Africa’s independence movement








From Mole National Park with its elephants and wildlife, to the sacred Paga Crocodile Pond, Ghana offers unforgettable natural experiences.
